A dream come true

The Ristorante Il Bacher is a dream come true.
It was our grandfather Antonio’s dream: keeping all the family together and allowing his sons and grandchildren to work in the small mountain village of Berceto in the Parmesan Apennines. With tenacity and wit, Antonio established an earth-moving enterprise for the next male generations, while at the same time dreaming of a Restaurant that would delight his daughters, his daughters-in-law and his grandchildren, and where guests could enjoy the family’s recipes.

Antonio had his eyes on the Bacher estate as the location for this dream to become a reality: large wheat crop fields with a wonderful country house where a German family used to live. The family name Bacher gave a name to that dream of the past.
