Innovation but respecting tradition
Since 2004 we have offered a cooking style that combines tradition and authenticity with innovation and experimentation.
The tradition we take inspiration from is the authentic cooking from Berceto village, with a slight influence from the bordering regions of Liguria and Tuscany.
The innovation we propose is a balance of unique culinary combinations and the triumph of simple raw materials.
Our distinctive cooking values are:
High quality raw materials, selected from the best suppliers on the market;
Local products from the wood and the pasture: mushrooms, truffles, berries, cheese, honey and chestnuts that are homegrown;
Homemade pasta every day, an old tradition we proudly preserve from modern shortcuts;
Menus in tune with the seasons, a harmonious consequence of the freshness of the raw materials we use.
In 2009, Ristorante Il Bacher was awarded “Restaurant of the Year” by the Historic Italian Gastronomy Academy.
In 2010, Il Bacher won the “Italian Bell Tower of the year” trophy in the television programme “La Prova del Cuoco”, a well-known cooking show on channel RAI 1 hosted by Antonella Clerici.
